Crispy Veggies


Ingredients
200 gms boiled black chana
200 gms boiled rajma
Half cup finely chopped beetroot
½ cup Whole wheat flour
½ cup gram flour
4 Green chilies chopped finely
1 teaspoon Ginger grated
¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon Red chili powder
Few coriander leaves finely chopped
Salt to taste
1½ teaspoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Preparation:
First coarsely grind pulses in bowl add it along with finely chopped beetroot. Then take wheat flour, gram flour, salt, sugar, turmeric, chili powder with ginger paste and green chilies mix it. Add oil. Rub it into it. Then add washed coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix it & start making dough by adding little water at a time. Sometimes you might not need any water to make dough. Take 1-2 inches of water into the steamer and let the water come to a simmer. Meanwhile grease the tray and also your hands. Divide the dough into 2 parts and make two rolls of 1-inch diameter. Arrange them on greased tray. Steam it for 15-20 minutes. Check by inserting a knife or toothpick, if it comes out clean then it is done. Remove it to another plate and let it cool for 5 minutes. Then make thin slices. You can shallow or deep fry as per your choice Heat the oil for frying. Once hot Immediately add sliced pieces and let it brown on both sides Serve hot and enjoy the crispiness along with chutney or ketchup.
