Oats & Sesame Laddu
Ingredients
Quick cooking Oats – 1 cup
Powdered jaggery -1/2 cup or as per your
taste
Ghee as needed
Sesame roasted – half cup
Cashew nuts -10
Almonds – 10
Cardamom powder – a pinch
Preparation
Dry roast oats & sesame until. Cool
and powder it coarsely.
Powder jaggery and keep it ready. Dry
roast cashew nuts and almonds separately. Chop it finely or powder it coarsely
METHOD
In a bowl, mix
together, oats, jaggery, cardamom powder and nuts.
Heat ghee, saute
add to the oats mixture. Melt needed ghee and add to the mixture little at a
time. Mix well and make balls. Make sure that the ghee is warm.
Store it in an
airtight container. Stays good for 15 days at room temperature.
