Prawns roast masala
Ingredients
500 gms
prawn/shrimp cleaned and deveined.
Salt to taste
3 tbsp Kashmiri
red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
powder
1 tbsp roasted
coriander seeds powder
2 tbsp ginger
garlic paste
½ tsp fennel seed
powder
½ tsp garam masala
powder
2 tbsp oil
Few curry leaves
1 tbsp coriander
leaves for garnishing (Optional)
Method
Firstly, after
cleaning and deveining the prawns wash them well with water and drain the
excess water. In a bowl, add the prawns, add salt to taste. Add ginger garlic
paste into it. Add red chilli powder, fennel seed powder, garam masala powder
and turmeric powder then the roasted coriander seeds powder. Mix the whole
mixture well so that the prawns are coated well with the masala. Rest the
mixture in the refrigerator and marinate it for about 5 - 10 minutes. Take a
frying wok, add oil and heat it, add the prawns into the heated oil. Stir the
mixture well with the oil and stir it delicately. Add fresh curry leaves into
the cooking prawns. Give a nice mix. Cook the prawns for about 10 -15 minutes
and give a stir in between. Prawns fry is done... Sprinkle with lemon juice
over it (optional). Garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve with dal rice or
can be eaten plain....
