Hariyali Prawns
500 gms raw prawns
1 onion finely
chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seed
1 tbsp butter
½ tsp lemon juice
1⁄4 tsp turmeric
powder
500 gms coriander
leaves
500 gms spinach
leaves boiled
Few mint leaves
1 tsp ginger &
garlic paste
1⁄2 cup grated
coconut
5 to 6 green
chilies
Water as required
Salt as required
Method:
Clean and devein
the prawns. Add turmeric and salt to the prawns and leave aside.
In a blender, add
the spinach leave, mint leaves, coriander leaves, coconut, ginger paste, garlic
paste and green chillies. Add little water & blend form a paste. On medium flame,
heat 1 tbsp butter. Add the fennel seeds and cumin seeds and let them sputter.
Add the onions. Add a pinch of salt and cook until the onions are translucent. Add
the green paste, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add water as required, add
lemon juice, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Add the prawns. Add salt as per
taste Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the prawns are cooked. Serve with
paratha or rice!.
