Sama or Samvat flour Roti
Ingredients:
Sama or Samvat flour: 1 cup
Potato: 2 boiled
Sendha namak (Rock Salt): to taste
Coriander: handful finely chopped
Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
Ghee: 2 tbsp
Green chili: 2 finely chopped
Method:
Take sama flour in mixing bowl add boiled mashed
potato, salt, chopped coriander, black pepper powder, green chili and mix and
knead it to a soft dough.(You will not require water but if needed add little)
Divide the dough in equal balls. Take a plastic polythene
and grease a little with oil. Put one ball on plastic polythene, fold it and
roll it with rolling pin. Roti will be a little thick and not very thin.
Heat a tawa. Pour a little ghee on it. Pick rolled
sama rice thepla on one hand and place it on tawa. Cook from both sides by
applying ghee. Cook till golden brown from both sides.
Serve it with Raita and enjoy
