Watermelon Wonders
Ingredients:
Base of watermelon
grated around 2 cups
One-cup
gram/chickpea flour
Three table spoon
wheat flour
Two table spoon
white sesame seeds
One-Teaspoon semolina
One tbsp Minced green
chillies
1 tbsp Minced grated
ginger
Half cup finely
chopped fresh coriander leaves
Oil for frying
Salt as required
I packet Eno fruit
salt.
Method: -
In a mixing bowl
take the grated base of the watermelon, squeeze, and remove the excess water.
Then add gram / chickpea flour, wheat flour, semolina, minced green chillies,
grated ginger and mix it well. Add water if required only as watermelon already
has water contents in it. Further, add the finely chopped coriander leaves and
make a thick batter out of it.
Keep vessel for
steaming, grease a plate with oil. Now add eno fruit salt to the batter mix it
well and pour it on the greased plate and allow it to steam on medium flame for
about 15 to 20 mins. Once done insert a knife to check if it is done. If the
knife comes out clear, it has done. Let it cool completely. Further, cut it in
to small pieces, fry it until it turns golden brown, and serve it hot with
ketchup and enjoy.
