Quick Bhindi Dry
Ingredients:
Half kg Bhindi
washed cleaned and cut in to length wise
Jeera - 1 tsp
Green Chillies - 6
(Slit lengthwise)
Ginger – finely
chopped
Ginger paste - 1
tsp
Sesame seeds – 1
tbsp
Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder –
¾ tsp
Fresh Coriander
Lemon juice half
tsp
Salt as required
Oil 2 tbsp
Method:
In a pan, heat oil, add
jeera, when it crackles, add the green chillies, ginger and saute until raw
smell disappears. Add the sesame seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and
salt. Then add bhindi and mix well, cover and cook until the bhindi is half
done. Now add the lemon juice and cook 2 to 3 mins more, add fresh coriander
and serve hot with roti or phulkas.
