Maggi Noodle Pakoras
Ingredients:
2 Packets
Maggi Noodles, cooked (without seasoning packet)
1 ½
cup Gram Flour or Corn Flour

cup
Carrots, Finely sliced
½ cup
Green Cabbage, Finely sliced
½
cup Onion,
finely sliced
½ tsp
Ginger
finely chopped
1
tsp Green chilli, finely
chopped

tbsp
Fresh Coriander, chopped

tsp
as per Salt
1 tsp
Red chilli powder
½
tsp
Coriander Powder
½
tsp
Cumin seeds
¼
tsp
Amchoor (dried mango powder)
Big
Pinch Baking Soda

Oil

Water
Oil for frying
Method:
Cook both packets of noodles without the seasoning packet until
just cooked. Run cold water over them to
stop the cooking process. Set aside. Heat oil in a wok or pan. In a large
mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the noodles and
water. Coat everything well with the
gram flour or corn flour and seasoning. Add the little water very slowly, to create a thick,
smooth paste with the vegetable mix. Add the noodles to the vegetable mix. Mix the noodles and vegetables together
gently in the batter using your hands. Test a small bit of the batter in the
oil to see if the temperature is right. To make the pakoras, mix loosely. Place into the frying oil Cook until a dark
golden brown. If you find that it gets
brown too quickly, turn the heat down a bit. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot and enjoy with your favourite
chutney or ketchup!
